Troy Lampkin

Troy A. Lampkin began his career working for Lampkin & Sons, a family tree removal business owned by his grandfather. During his summers he learned the tree business. In his last year of high school Troy became the administrative assistant to his grandfather, collecting on accounts receivables. Troy saved his pay and bought his first one ton dump truck (cash) in 1985 at the age of 19.
Later, Troy moved to the Carolinas and established Best Rate Tree & Landscaping Inc. which services Charlotte/ Mecklenburg and the surrounding communities. Best Rate Tree & Landscaping Inc. has developed into a lucrative tree and landscaping service.
Troy attended Northern Illinois University where he majored in Electrical Engineering. He graduated from Thornwood High School in South Holland, Illinois.
Troy resides in the Carolinas with his wife and children. His son Marqua, has taken an interest in the family business.
